A 2009 160-foot-long Christensen Yacht with interior design by Carol Williamson & Associates, “VF-15″ has three decks and can accommodate 12 guests in four double and two twin cabins with a bed configuration of two Pullman bunks, 1 King, 3 Queen and 2 Double.

VF-15″ weighs 491 gross tons with a draft of 7.91 feet. She holds 15,240 gallons of fuel, 3,690 gallons of water, and a crew of 9. Each of her two 2,041-horsepower MTU 12V 4000 M60 Diesel engines consumes 146.7 liters of fuel per hour at rated power. She can cruise at a speed of 14 knots with a maximum speed of 18 knots. She has a range of 4,500 nautical miles.

She flies the flag of the Cayman Islands, home port George Town. Her owner, Jack Taylor of St. Louis MO, age 87, is the founder of Enterprise Rent-A-Car Company, the largest rental car company in North America. He flew as a naval aviator with Navy Fighter Squadron (“VF”) 15 in World War II, ergo “VF-15″, and served on the aircraft carrier “Enterprise”, ergo Enterprise Rent-A-Car Company. With an estimated net worth of about $9.5 billion in 2009, Taylor was ranked by Forbes as the 18th-richest American and the 40th-richest person in the world.
